Depending on the weight of your vehicle, driving patterns, and road conditions, you should be able to achieve up to 100 miles between charges.

How fast will my vehicle go once it has been upgraded to an electric engine?

From zero to 60 in five seconds is achievable (though it will reduce the range available between charges).

Are there any issues insuring an electric car?

No. Consider your electric car to be like any other with after-market upgrades. There should be no issues insuring your electric car.

What are the benefits of driving an electric car?

Is my original warranty still good on my car?

Yes! Manufacturers are required by law to stand behind their original warranty on the entire car that remains original for the entire term and any extended terms that were promised when the car was new. EVX Laboratories stands solidly behind our electric drive train with an additional five year / 100,000 mile warranty.

If anything goes wrong within these limits we will repair or replace the defective part(s) for FREE!

What do you do with my engine that has been removed?

We sell the gas-powered engines in the market to hobbyists, mechanics, and as emergency generators. The revenues we receive help subsidize and offset the extraordinary costs associated with these modifications, lowering the prices for you, the customer.

How long do the batteries last?

The new Lithium Ion technology delivers more power and last longer then the previous metallic based batteries and our proprietary on board controller and battery management system insures maximum lifespan. These batteries are anticipated to last well over five years before showing any significant loss of performance or re-chargeability.

How expensive is the upgrade?

Currently the complete turnkey upgrade is priced starting at $19,900 with your new engine trade-in. Alternatively, you may wish to finance your upgrade and make payments. We can make these arrangements for you.

What is the electricity cost of operating?

It varies on the cost of electricity from state to state. As the price of gas goes up, the cost of running an electric vehicle goes down. We would encourage you to choose an electricity provider that uses 100% Renewable Energy Content to further augment the benefits of running a pollution fee vehicle.
